The London Boatshow
The HWA team started the New Year with a major contract to supply and install a fully integrated audio visual system for the Sunseeker Exhibition stand; the key components were the supply and installation of LED, Plasma & LCD screens for key areas of stand and VIP Champagne Bar and the on-site audio visual support including live video and audio editing.
Technically the screens were controlled centrally via an Endeleo Managed Multi-format 16 port hub, which converted the AV signal so it could be sent down a single CAT5 or CAT6 cable and then reconverted at the other end.
HWA are one of the first Audio Visual companies to transfer over to this system, which is proving very popular as it can be installed in very little time and it makes considerable savings conventional systems.
Corporate Christmas Party
Christmas is always a great time to say thank you to staff and clients, and with more and more companies switching from large scale events to more bespoke themed parties, our dedicated themeing and party team is never busier.
Our aim is to make dreams reality and from our first meeting with this client the theme of "winter wonderland" came through very strongly, as requested we provided a magical setting, with tree lined archways, white and blue lighting on the trees and floral decorations.
The Bobby Moore Ball
HWA are pleased to be the production and events company for the Bobby Moore Funds' Annual Gala Ball, this is a glittering occasion with excitement, entertainment and glamour, and in 2006 the event raised over £150,000 for bowel cancer research. We provided a full event management service for this event from providing PA for the champagne reception through to the set design and build including sourcing and management of live entertainment for the main dinner.
The Microscope Ball
This years' Microscope Ball, in aid of the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign was held in the London Hilton, Park Lane, with only three hours to build the set, rig the projection, lighting and sound and prepare for the 750 guests, this was the most challenging show for years.
All the hard work was well worth it as the charity raised a tremendous £220,000 through the evening with a lavish champagne reception followed by a superb four course dinner, charity auction. After dinner, guests danced the night away to the "Sold Out" band and high rolled in the profusion of other entertainment including the interactive games room and casino.
Your Money Awards
The prestigious Your Money Awards event took place at the Merchant Taylors Hall, London, in front of over 200 guests from within the financial sector. The HWA team were on hand from the very first meeting to provide technical and creative support for this annual celebration of financial achievers, with lighting, sound, stage set, themeing, entertainment effects, projection, live camera relay and PowerPoint production. This was the third Your Money event managed by the HWA team, and is now widely regarded as one of the best awards events for the industry in Europe.
